Perfect for romantic weekends away or family vacations, the Beech Tree Cottages offers everyone a feeling of tranquility, comfort and charm. Set within a three-acre landscaped estate, each cottage and guest room has been designed with beach-side New England style in mind. The Beech Tree Cottages mixes modern travel with vintage American tradition and offers guests an experience to remember.
Accommodations
Cottages
We have four cottages available for nightly or weekly stays. Cottages comprise of bedroom with queen bed, bathroom, livingroom and kitchenette. The livingroom includes a couch with pull-out for additional guests, coffee table, bistro table, color tv and vcr. The kitchenette includes small refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, glassware, dinerware, silverware. Gas grills and picnic tables are located on the grounds for our guests. Cottages can accommodate upto 4 guests.
Rates: $125 per night or $750 per week*
Guest Rooms
Option 1: Room with two full beds and private bathroom.
Option 2: Room with two twin beds and private bathroom.
Option 3: Room with king bed and private bathroom.
Option 4: Small cottage with queen bed and private bathroom.
Rate: $100 per night*
Reservations
*All rates are subject to 12% CT occupancy Tax.
A two-night minimum is required for weekends.
50% deposit is required at time of booking. For one night stay, the full balance is due at time of booking. Balance due at check-in.
Check-In is between 2pm and 9pm. For late check-in, please call in advance.
Check-Out is at 11am.
All rooms include cable television and air conditioning.All bed and bath linens are provided.
Daily housekeeping is provided for 2-3 night stays. For weekly stays, daily housekeeping is provided upon request.
No pets and absolutely no smoking is permitted - you will be charged for cleaning.
Cancellations: You will receive a refund of your deposit (less a $25 processing fee) if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days before your arrival date. If your cancellation is not made within 7 days of check-in, you will not receive a refund. We can not offer refunds for early departures.
We are open seasonally from May-October.

Located on the Connecticut Shoreline, the Beech Tree Cottages is within walking or biking distance to Hammonasset Beach State Park, and within minutes of Chatfield Hollow State Park. We are a mile from Madison town center and in close proximity to many restaurants and shops. Enjoy private town beaches, listen to out-door concerts, or buy organic produce at the farmer's market on the green. Visit art galleries and museums in New Haven or take a drive to the Connecticut River Valley or the historic towns of Essex, Old Saybrook, or Mystic.
